Transform The Narratives that drive your business...or hold you back.
"Every individual and every company has three stories:
The First Story is your Deep Narrative. This is what you tell yourself about who you are, what you do and why you do it.
The Second Story is the one you tell others.
The Third Story is the one others tell about you.
I guide my clients to trust and transform their first story so that it leverages their uniqueness, maximizes their potential and drives change across their organization.
I also help clarify the second story by aligning it with the deep narrative so others experience the true core of your capabilities.
Thanks to the digital revolution you no longer control the third story. But there are ways to impact this crucial narrative and I’ll show you how to do that more effectively.
All you’ve really got is your story. Get it right and put it to work!"

Take My Advice – I Can’t
Directed by Peter Campbell
15 years into a successful career as a motivational speaker, Steve lost touch with the power of his own deep narrative. So he embarked on a three year and 72,000 mile journey to find a new story and a reason to tell it.
"I recommend watching the film if you are thinking of hiring me as a speaker or a coach. You’ll see that I really do know how to get a new story. "
A Guidebook for Crossing the Deserts of Change
(over 100,000 copies sold)
"When I was 20 years old I crossed the Sahara Desert from north to south. Shifting Sands tells the story of that epic adventure and uses the desert journey as a metaphor for times of transition in our lives."
"Every few years I return to the Sahara with a small group of friends and clients. We fly from Paris to Tamanrasset, an oasis in southern Algeria. For the next 7 days we travel in 4 wheel drive vehicles over some of the most beautiful terrain you will ever see.
We play on 1,000 feet tall dunes and camp under a breathtaking canopy of stars. We visit nomadic tribes and share tea with them. Our head guide, Moulay Harachi, leads us on hikes through the dunes and into spectacular canyons that house 50,000 year-old rock paintings.
Daytime temperatures are surprisingly comfortable during autumn and early winter. But nights are cool and you will need a very warm sleeping bag. Evenings are spent around the campfire where we enjoy delicious meals prepared by our cook, Brahim.
Our Tuareg guides speak Arabic, Tamashek and French. Virginie Biarnay is our tour leader and she is a veteran of numerous desert excursions. She speaks excellent English and happily translates any of your questions, comments or requests to the desert team.
Come join me this year and get a new story to remember for a lifetime!"
